School Psychologist

 

Camilla is our wonderful School Psychologist, who you will find at JTCESC on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. She is passionate about working to equip students with the tools to support their mental wellbeing both at school and beyond. She also works on a consultancy basis to assist the school in implementing wellbeing and post-school transition interventions.

 

 

School psychologists often support students in several ways to improve areas such as:

  • Emotional regulation
  • Anxiety and depression
  • School attendance
  • School behaviour
  • Psychological education

Although school psychologists are often a key health professional in supporting a student’s mental health, students are often referred to external services for further support. This is to ensure that students are getting consistent intervention both in and out of school hours. Some examples of external services in Mandurah and surrounds include:
